Was this a case of sour grapes?

Re Daniel Boase-Jelinek's letter ("Is Subi on the path back to the bad old days?", POST, 3/5), I was present at the Subiaco council meeting when Lake Jualup was discussed.

Due process was followed as councillor Allan Stoney left the room and neither participated in discussion nor voted on the proposal.

The attack on mayor Heather Henderson and councillors Judith Gedero, Lynley Hewitt, Murray Rowe and Mr Stoney was unfounded as the result came about from a fair and democratic process.

Is this simply a case of sour grapes because the vote didn't go Daniel's way?

I don't live close to the lake but, I am interested in local events.

The councillors work very hard and have an unenviable task, in my opinion. At the end of the day, they have to make a decision one way or another, and a majority rules.
