'Trail bike rider breaks rules in the park'

Riding along oblivious to the rules.

Things appear to be going downhill fast at Minim Cove. On Sunday, our family outing there was disturbed by the presence of a child on a trail bike.

His father, when approached, indicated he thought it entirely acceptable on the basis that he was unaware of any other place for his son to ride.

Dad also threatened to throw my camera in the pond if I took a photograph. Ironically, the camera is waterproof.

I proceeded with my documentation of the scene only to discover later that I had accidentally made a movie and not a still image. The father's threat is audible in the movie.

The trail bike rider spent most of his/her time riding in an area of the park that until recently had a sign urging dog owners to keep their dogs on leads, lest they should disturb nesting rainbow birds.

Dad spent all his time with two toddlers well away from the trail bike rider, whose tender years can only mean that he or she was unlicensed.
