For some people, turning up to school in your
pyjamas is the plot line of a bad dream.
But 600 girls at St Hilda's in Mosman Park wore
their pyjamas to school on purpose on Thursday.
It was all part of the fun of a project for
Princess Margaret Hospital, the organisation chosen
by the school's Year 10s as the beneficiary of
their fund-raising efforts this year.
Laryssa Dowell (16), the school's community
service captain, said many students had a strong
connection to the hospital because it had helped
them, their family or friends.
Students, and some teachers, raised about $1200
by paying $2 for their pyjama privileges.
